This morning all awoke to blizzard conditions in Resolute - high winds, heavy snowfall and low visibility. After lectures in GPS and lat and long competitors ventured into the poor weather conditions to complete orienteering exercises. In the afternoon they erected their tents and lit their stoves - giving them the experience of snowdrifts and strong winds and the problem this can cause. Tonight competitors sleep out for the first time.
