RACE DAY 6

LATEST NEWS
Three teams have now made CP1! Best Served Chilled arrived in CP1 only 5 minutes ahead of Lost Penguins! The two are battling for the speed record - as they have only two team members each they do not qualify for race standings. Cold Beef are current race leaders with Polar Flame in second and Gamania in third. As Cold Front and Holiday Club also have only 2 team members they also do not qualify for race standings but are also aiming for the best time possible. For personal reasons Gareth and Alistair from British Sea Power have decided to leave the race. Yoyo intends to move forward to CP2 to try to join a team, and carry the team flag to the finish. Today Silver Foxes are leaving the ice, they did a fantastic job but were unable to keep up with race pace and so are not able to complete the route. They will travel to Resolute in the next few days before flying home. All competitors are fine, safe and well.

Temperature: -17C
