Its been an excellent day. There was talk that a VIP was coming on the plane to start the race. Barney and I spread a rumour that it was Dawn French. I think everyone was rather disappointed when Tony stepped off the plane. Love to Fiona and the family in Australia, and to Andrea and the bump.

Well its been a nice trip out on our first day. We made 13.1 nautical miles. We have a few aches and pains, but we are very happy to be here. Lots of love to our husbands and girlfriends.
